[No. 141] Symposium: 50 Years European Corporate Law

Next Wednesday, September 30, the Dutch Institute for Corporate Law organizes a symposium about 50 years of European corporate law. The "50 years" part refers to the fact that Prof. P. Sanders, an important dean of the Erasmus University Rotterdam back in the day, formally accepted his position as professor at the university by delivering a speech about the European public corporation. Since then, there have been numerous developments in corporate law at the European level and "indirectly" at the national level in the European Union. As of 2004, for example, it is possible to establish a European public corporation.

The symposium takes place in the M-Building (Tokyo Wing) at the campus of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Further information about registration can be found here. The program runs as follows.
