The European Parliament's Policy Department just published a report on empty voting and hidden ownership. The report, entitled "The Use of Shareholder Voting Rights During the General Assembly of Company Shareholders ", can be downloaded here. It will be interesting to see whether and to what extent the European Commission will follow the policy recommendations, which include enhancing transparency on economic interests. To be continued.
