The Dutch Chamber of Commerce recently published some stats on start-ups and bankruptcies in the Netherlands.

In December 2009, compared to the situation in December 2008, there was a rise of 13.95% in the number of start-ups (with a total number of 105.592 in 2009), but also a rise of 12.34% in the number of bankruptcies (with a total of 7.410 in 2009).
