Today, on the website of the Senate the long-expected 'nader voorlopig verslag' was published. Most question are about the new clauses regarding payment of dividends. Furthermore, there are some questions about the proposed changes to dispute settlement procedures. Also, it is asked if remedial legislation will be proposed for some cleaning up and if yes, when this can be expected. Remarkably, it is also asked if the answers from the government can be provided in the next four weeks.
De leden van de vaste commissie voor Veiligheid & Justitie zien de reactie van de regering - graag binnen vier weken - met belangstelling tegemoet.
Hopefully, this means the senate is still willing to vote in favour of the Flex BV in May or early June if the answers are acceptable, so the Bills can take effect on July 1st, 2012. It seems still possible to reach that goal.
